Network Specialist

Overview

The Luminus Network for New Americans is a non-profit located in Columbia, Maryland that empowers immigrants, refugees, asylees and other foreign-born individuals and families with legal, social, and language services.

Job Duties include:

  • Administer, test, and implement various technology platforms such as salesforce database, microsoft apps, and form assembly at luminus to improve our internal processes that will best aid our ability to serve clients and volunteers.
  • Design and customize modifications to the salesforce database.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues with salesforce for luminus staff.
  • Develop and manage effective data acquisition technology for the luminus network database.
  • Create new user accounts in salesforce to record client information and support the luminus staff with data input and reporting needs.
  • Work with the afghan alliance coordinator, volunteer coordinator, employment specialist(s), case managers, legal colleagues, and all client facing staff.
  • Conduct onboarding for new staff on how to use the database.
  • Utilize our salesforce database to customize the process for stakeholders.
  • Meet weekly with salesforce consultants to share luminus network’s needs & obtain updates for ongoing projects.
  • Support the development and growth of the connections between volunteers and clients.
  • Adapt to the changing requirements for meeting clients’ and new arrivals’ needs in today’s covid-19 environment.

Hours of work per week

  • 40 HOURS
  • 5 DAYS
