A note from Seema
Luminus has been a front door for immigrants in Central Maryland since 1981. That door has never been busier. Every day, our attorneys and staff sit with neighbors who are working out how to keep their families together, work, study and belong.
The rules are changing quickly. Our job is to help people understand where they stand and what they can do next, with care and with respect.
We are a small team, and we cannot do this alone. Our work runs on the generosity of our neighbors, volunteers, donors and partners. If you need help, please call us. If you can give your time or a gift, we are grateful.
Our values are community, trust and inclusion. Thank you for living them with us.
